Greetings to all you disciples of Jesus from around the world who check in on the work of AHKM, from your brothers and sisters in Otara. Just a short update of the last three months ... in short, it’s been war, and we’ve taken some hits:
· A couple of our disciples have chosen the broad way! The lusts of the flesh (2 Pet 2:18) and the cares of the world (Mark 4:19) proved more attractive than the way of the cross (Luk 9:23) for them.
· The favour we have enjoyed in the Otara area has dimmed somewhat. Although we were given a verbal OK by the new manager to continue our evangelism activity in the mall area, we were no longer given a written permission notice. No reasons given for these changes, probably just personal preference of the new manager. And buskers have been able to increase in number making it less appropriate for our open-air preaching in strategic spots.
· One of the street guys, who suffers from mental illness, and who was starting to be a bit more of a regular visitor to our services, and who was already showing less confusion as the truth of the Gospel was wiping his mind clean of the devil’s lies ... has been banned from being on the site of the campus where we hold our church services. His delusional activities of the past has made him an unacceptable risk to them.
· A couple of folk with whom we have been spending quite a bit of time, teaching them, showing them Biblical discipleship, have not shown a very lively response. And S. (the Muslim man mentioned in our last post), went suddenly distant, no longer seeking to us, and responding to our little contact with polite reserve.
But hey, Jesus had all His disciples abandon Him at one time or another. And His presence was not met with favour by the managers of His preferred preaching location – the temple area - nor by the residents of Gadara when He healed one of their seriously mentally ill countrymen! And He has taught us that those who follow Him must expect the same treatment.
So, we turn up the Holy Ghost heat!
We’ve handed out more than twice the number of Gospel tracts than we normally do in the same 3 month period.
A young (in the flesh) but mature (in the spirit) disciple was transferred from Gisborne to Otara to continue his discipleship here, and was appointed a Trainee Pastor shortly thereafter, to be further trained in ministry.
We selected two new preaching locations and have put more preachers on there this past 3 months than ever before in our ministry here.
We increased our evangelism time in Papatoetoe (next-door suburb) to every second week, and just recently have committed to having a team in both Otara and Papatoetoe every week!
We headed to the big smoke (Auckland City) on a cold and windy Friday night a couple of weeks back, along with our Manurewa fellow-soldiers, for an awesome time of talking with night people on busy Queen St.
And everywhere we go, we preach the Gospel, we heal the sick, we cast out devils ...
Quite a few hearts have been open to the Gospel, and have shown the beginning of repentance, but strangely the majority of those folk have been visitors (from out of town, and many of them from overseas).
We recently revisited the fast-food store where S. (see above) works, arriving just in time to catch him heading off home sick. We healed him showing him the power and love of Jesus.
We arrived in the Otara shopping mall area recently, to be greeted by the old manager who had shown us such favour. These managers are apparently only appointed for six-month terms under some arrangement with the government, as part of some job-creation scheme (we think). But for some reason, the latest manager, who had proven somewhat cool toward us, has resigned! Odd that! And even odder is the re-appointment of the previous manager who had treated us most kindly: Thank you Jesus! And he encouraged us to return to preaching in the mall, even telling us they have moved the busker on! (This manager is NOT a Christian.)
And, after returning to the world for a bit, and experiencing again what it has to offer – death – one of the backsliders has returned! The mercies of the Lord are new every morning! (Lam 3:22-23)

AHKC Manurewa Update
HEY GUYS! Jesus is ALIVE!
Time is flying and the question remains, what are you doing? It seems like yesterday it was the very beginning of 2014, now we’re past half way already. Jesus planted this church here in Manurewa of South Auckland 3 years ago and today we are going strong seeking the lost & making disciples whilst fighting sin and loving Jesus. Here’s a little bit of what we’ve been up to at our post…….
At the beginning of the year we started off each Saturday afternoon with our Foundations Course. After finishing the course we then began to have our usual Saturday afternoon church service, but this time it was going to be a little bit different…. This time round the Holy Ghost wanted to give the mature disciples in the church an opportunity to learn more about Ministry. Biblical Discipleship is practical and what better way to learn than to have a go yourself. So for the last few months 4 disciples have been training how to run a church service from start to finish. They learn to do everything from setting up the service, worship leading, flowing in the Holy Ghost, Preaching the Word, Making Alter Calls, Praying and Prophesying for those wanting prayer afterwards, Serving in the kitchen and then finally packing everything up and locking the doors at the end. What a great opportunity! These Disciples have all stepped up to the mark and embraced this season God has them in. They love it, along with all the bumps and turns you would expect on a ride. These services go off because Jesus is there, He says- Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. These Disciples know and understand how blessed they are to have such an awesome opportunity to learn exactly what it’s like to be a Minister and that it is such a privilege to be able to learn this stuff now unlike so many other Christians today who sit in churches and never ever get an opportunity like this to grow up in God and become useful. Go God!
Seeking the lost involves obedience to the Word. Seeking the lost means to actually get up off the couch and get out there to where the lost are, now I’m not saying go into the pubs and clubs, but out in the community you know, up town or at the bus/train stops-seeking them or going about to look for them. Here in Manurewa we are privileged to be able to share the Good News of Jesus freely. There are lots of diverse cultures in our area and so sometimes there is the need to use hand signals and even learning new languages to get the Gospel out to every creature. We love making war on the kingdom of darkness and what better way to do it, getting out there and laying hands on the sick, praying for the lost/brokenhearted, prophesying life into their dead spirits and preaching the Glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. As a result of our obedience to the Word we have seen a lot of different manifestations. People watching us as we open-air preach and observe how we handle hecklers and persecutors. One man was so impressed at the boldness and humility he saw in one of our Disciples as he preached the Gospel and how he handled a situation where a young man was throwing out questions designed to throw him off preaching. The man observing then came along to church 2 weeks later. There are also devils of intimidation and hatred that manifest in and through what I would call local people, people that live here and we see all the time. These ones get mad and angry as soon as they see the Gospel Force and so have in the past stood next to a Disciple who was preaching to another person and they started singing really loud trying to cause a scene and distract the person from hearing the Word. They have even harassed one of our Disciples as well to the point where we taught our Disciples how to handle those situations wisely from here on out. Praise God that He has warned us and taught us about these different manifestations we experience almost daily because we choose to live Godly in Christ and so we have no need to fear because Jesus is King and Lord over the whole of Manurewa and South Auckland and Aotearoa (NZ) and in the whole earth!
As a part of our Evangelism too we’ve started to hit the streets in Papakura! Oh Yeah! This place is 5-10mins drive South of Manurewa and it is amazing how places, people, atmosphere’s can change in such a short space. I mean this made us realise quickly how different these 2 places are in the Spirit. We love it though, we love a challenge and especially because we know the Truth and we are not ignorant of his (satan’s) devices. We stand preaching the Gospel of Jesus unashamed and with great confidence that He is with us! God is with us! Already there have been a couple of incidences where satan has tried to intimidate us or politely speaking trying to get us to move on but that has actually stirred us up more to continue praying and believing God for the whole place to Repent from sin and follow after Jesus. We can’t wait to see what Great things God is going to do in Papakura but for now we will continue to seek and save the lost there by preaching the Gospel and shining our lights bright! Woohoo!
In June this year we had an addition to our church. This Mighty woman was originally from this church and as God’s plans for her life began to unfold He sent her off as a Missionary to Levin. She went down there out of love for the lost and obedience to the Word of God serving and being an available vessel for God to use. After a decent amount of time, God said through her oversight, for her to come on back up to Manurewa. Woohoo! Before she left Levin she was ordained as a Trainee Pastor, go Holy Ghost! She arrived up here as a Trainee Pastor ready to continue her discipleship and growth in Jesus as a part of AHKC Manurewa. We here welcomed her with open arms, and we were glad to join arms with another soldier in the Gospel.
To kick off the month of July, we had Reverend Linda Trevenan from AHKC Levin fly up here on a Missions Trip. Woop woop! She Ministered the Word over the whole weekend edifying the saints in Christ. This was a great time of refreshing and hearing the simplicity of God’s Awesome Word. More of the Heart of God was shared and also insight into the scriptures was made manifest. Disciples love the Word of God and so a lot of them were buzzing out (excited) at how God shed light on His Word over the course of the weekend. Disciples were then prayed for and prophesied for after each meeting by Rev Linda before she departed back to Levin. Everybody was fired up and encouraged to go higher with Jesus, and to continually examine ourselves whether we be in the Faith.
We up here in Auckland have also had the privilege of having our Apostle and his family come up and dwell here with us for a bit. We were all surprised to see them and really excited because this time they brought ‘The Bus’. Yes that’s right, this is the Apostolic Itinerant Ministry Bus otherwise known as A.I.M. This Ministry started off as a vision- for the lost here in NZ to be reached for Christ, the Uncompromised Gospel being taken throughout the nation in demonstration of Holy Ghost Power and for the present churches to be strengthened in the Faith. This Ministry was to purchase a House Bus for our Apostle and his whole family to live in full time. They are now living in it and on the road and so for us here it is really Awesome to see this vision and plan that God has for NZ coming to pass. We as a church continuously pray for this Ministry and bus, believing that God would have His way and it is so rewarding for us to be able to see it right here in the natural. It looks MEAN (awesome) and we are aware to stay in continual prayer for this Ministry because we understand how much of a threat this Bus is to the kingdom of darkness……………. BRING IT!!!
So having our Apostle and his family here has been encouraging for us as a church to be able to sit under the anointing of our Apostle and the Word of God in his life. We have been reminded in the Holy Ghost about keeping our relationships with Jesus real and raw which is the most important thing in one’s life. It’s been cool having a couple more GF soldiers out on the streets with us each weekend helping to seek & save the lost. And it’s been fun fellowshipping, sharing this time together and growing in God.
Coming up are some testimonies we want to share with the World to bring Glory to God!!!
Ladies Ankle In Pain & Then Her Son -Sat 2nd Aug 2014
Today on the streets I met a family who were Indian. As they were rushing to their car I noticed the mum limping so I approached her and asked her if I could pray for her leg? She told me her ankle was in pain but allowed me to pray for her. After I prayed for her she said it was a little bit better, so then I prayed for her ankle again and this time the ladies ankle was healed. Praise you Lord! This lady went from limping and having a painful ankle to being healed, happy and jumping up and down.
Immediately afterwards she asked if I could pray for her son that was about to have an operation on his foot because a nail had pierced it. So I got down and prayed for his foot to be healed in the Name of Jesus and guess what?.....The young boy got healed too, he began testing it and like his mum was jumping up and down…. Thank you Lord!
Just to add as well, before I encountered this family written above there were a bunch of street girls making fun and mocking the Bible, yelling out things like ‘God’s not real’. After observing Jesus Heal this family through the laying on of hands the demon spirits behind these girls mouths were stopped! They couldn’t believe it! Oh YEAHHHH, JESUS IS MIGHTY TO HEAL!
Lupas Diagnosis Since 12years Old
My little brother Daniel has been diagnosed with Lupas since he was 12 he is now 17 and just a couple of months ago he was rushed to Middle More Hospital. He was admitted into H.D.U (High dependency unit) after having a seizure and complaining of pain. During the seizure he also bit his tongue. I was there by his side praying in tongues and after a little while he came too. Three days later we’d received word that Daniel had another seizure. At this point fear was crippling my whole family, they didn’t know what was happening and sadly they didn’t know what to do. When we arrived to Daniel doctors were surrounding him, my little brother was in so much pain because he had bitten his tongue again and this time it was hanging out with blood gushing out, he needed to have his airways kept clear from the blood clots and I was mad at the demon-righteous anger. My response was to pray in tongues and so I did. During that time I felt the presence of God with me and in the room. When the doctors came back in I heard one of them say “Wow, you worked your magic” because Daniel was calm. While being in hospital Daniel cried out to Jesus saying “Jesus, help me!” after that he told the doctors that Lupas is defeated and that he had had enough of the pills. He started speaking in tongues and got Born Again! He sang praises to God and soon after that he returned home. Praise You Lord Jesus!
I moved up to Auckland towards the end of last year to continue my Discipleship here. Once I arrived I needed to find a job. I set out job hunting every day, following instructions from my Discipler. I have never had a job before, so this was all so new to me. I finished high school last year and so I was now out in the real world. I along with everyone else was praying and believing God for a job and I was really keen to work. After 5 months of seeking after and believing God for a job, I got one! This job was an immediate start with training provided. Although I was not employed with a full-time permanent position, since starting I have had near to around 40 hours each week anyway. I was employed at this job in one department only but soon after I started they offered me more hours working in another department too. Jesus is so good to me and He has always looked after me.
Even though 5 months seemed like a long time that I hadn’t got a job, the inward work that God was doing in my heart was well worth it. I learned what it means to trust in Him, when satan was sowing discouragement. I learned how to go out and job hunt for myself rather than relying on everybody else to do it for me. I learned a lot during this time and I want to testify that God is real and He shall supply all of my needs and the needs of those who belong to Him! Thank You So Much Jesus!
Eczema & Swollen Hands Healed
Shortly after I started working, one day after work all of my fingers on both of my hands began to swell up, the skin on my hands went all dry and it was like it broke out in Eczema. This was a first, for this happening on my hands and fingers. My hands were really sore and painful; I couldn’t clench my fist and or even hold most things. That night I got prayer from my brothers and sisters, I also received some suggestions from my Discipler about changing a few things in my diet and trying other things and within a week my hands were back to normal. There was no more dryness anymore my skin was moist.
I do want to add as well that I did go to the doctor’s and they gave me a whole bunch of pills and creams to use, I used some of what they prescribed but didn’t use it much. I didn’t need to in the end because I was healed. Hallelujah!
More of Gods Favour & Provision
I’ve just moved into a new house with two other awesome ladies and we are all disciples. When we moved in to the house there were a few problems that we had to deal with. One of the problems was with the power connection. To have it fixed meant that someone would have to come out and fix it manually which was going to cost $150.00. After someone coming out to fix the job he waved the fee and we didn’t have to pay the $150.00 at all. We were all very thankful to the man and of course to Jesus!
Young girls skin infection Healed
A short while ago I was talking to one of my fellow disciples on the phone. She is a long distance disciple who lives a couple of hours away from me here in Manurewa. She was sharing with me about her 4 year old daughter having a skin infection. She had taken her daughter to the doctor and was given a prescription of medication to take. After taking the medicines there was very minimal improvement to her daughters skin infection. So at our prayer meeting I requested this young girl and this sickness as a prayer request for all to pray for her in Faith and in Unity and so we all prayed for her. Soon after this time the young girl was completely healed. Come’on Jesus!!!
The Favour of God in My Life
I want to testify about the Faithfulness of God and His Favour in and around my life. This year I finished my studies to become a registered nurse here in New Zealand. After I had finished I needed a job. I got a job which was all that I asked and believed God for. It was a permanent full-time position. At this job I received favour from God through my boss and the manager at work. They helped me a lot during my application for my visa when I really needed it. I was opposed heaps in the spirit but His favour and Grace enables us to do all that we must do even in the small things. Thank You Lord!
Car Troubles Turned Right Around
My car broke down; we took it to 3 different garages to get a diagnosis of the problem and the financial cost. Two of these garages quoted maximum $1500.00. From what they thought was more than likely the head gasket. So I went away and committed it to the Lord, whilst carrying on with things as per normal. After a few solid months of saving each week, we saved $1500.00. We took it in to get it fixed and this is what God did. The major initial problem was nowhere near $1500. All up to get all the problems fixed was between $550 & $600. Yehaaa! Thank you Jesus, for your favour and provision.
Jesus continues to pour out in an abundance to all those that love and obey Him. Serving Him is so exciting and also being a part of the solution to so many who are dead in their sins is so rewarding. We love seeing God at work in our area and in our lives. I pray you are encouraged and inspired to not waste any more of your life away. Come and live for Jesus and find True Life. The Bible says he that has the Son has Life, but he that has not the Son has not Life-1 John 5:12. Be blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus!!!
Ps Crystal Tuhaka
Hello from AHKC Gisborne
I hope this blog finds you in good stead; this is to edify and encourage you to set your face like flint to fight the Good fight of Faith.
There is no better life then to lay our lives down, so that Christ may live through us. Gisborne disciples continue to offer up their members in service to the KING! Mighty men and women of God are daily choosing to lay down their lives at the foot of the cross so Jesus can live in and through us
Since our last blog a lot has happened.
The Mighty AIM Bus was finally ready to hit the road so we fare welled our Apostle and his family on a mission trip across New Zealand, sad to see them go but in the same breath absolutely happy to see the Gospel go forth across our Nation, reproving the world of sin, Righteousness and the Judgement to come! A victory for Jesus having the Uncompromised Word on wheels now.
We have seen 2 Promotions in our Church, where disciples were asked to join the Ministry team. To help freely give back to what they have freely received. So wonderful to see men and women rise up and become spiritually mature to take on more responsibility and help play an effective part in Advancing His Kingdom.
God has also found 2 young disciples who have shown themselves faithful time and time again to the Word to now be donned a Gospel Force vest while out evangelising. What a great Honour it is to be loud and proud to represent Jesus Christ. These two young ladies have watched, observed and can definitely preach and contend for the Faith we believe in with no compromise. They are a testimony that age is just a number and God can use and move powerfully through anyone, any age, anytime.
Gizzy Exploit for Jesus
Gizzy disciples rallied together after work on a Friday evening on top of Kaiti Hill in our Gospel Force vests to wage war in the Spirit against the power of darkness, it was an honour for us to join together and destroy the works of the devil, we kicked the night off praying and labouring for our city. Binding up demons, sinners to get saved healed and delivered from the clutch of the devil. It was an awesome opportunity to stick it to the devil and use our mouth and tongue to Glorify God at the top of our lungs and curse the devil and his strongholds. After stirring ourselves up in our most Holy faith we then descended on the streets of Gisborne to preach the Gospel in LOVE! Awesome night all round
The Gospel continues to drench and saturate the people of Wairoa, causing people to awaken out of their slumber. The powerful Word goes out faithfully and removes all lies, facades and strongholds that the devil may try to deceive people with. “Some love to hear, some couldn’t give two hoots, some tell us to get out of town and stop preaching lies”. We see it all and don’t expect anything less because we are in a Spiritual warfare. We understand that we are in it for the long haul and obedience to Christ in preaching and presenting people with a way out of Sin and Eternal Death through the cross. Although we haven’t seen a whole lot in the natural, it don’t matter, we believe God’s Word to walk by Faith and not by sight for the lost in Wairoa. We present the Gospel and they then choose what they want to do with it. Jesus Reigns in Wairoa and as we proclaim his name every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord
Testimonies for Jesus
One disciple has been seeking part time work that fits around her children’s school hours. We prayed for favour and then it was a matter of waiting to see God move. She was called in for a first interview and during that she was able to pray for the Bosses sick brother that lives in Australia, she was called back for a second interview and totally blew them away and then secured employment with them. Hallelujah!
The disciple had a word with the boss and confessed she was struggling and totally not savvy with electronics and computers and if they wanted to let her go and find another person to replace her, that was ok. Through discipleship she was encouraged that God is with you, Trust in Him He has you here for a reason.
The boss responded to her “I would rather you know nothing, because if you don’t know any bad habits, then I can teach you how I want you to do the job”. The disciple seems to be the topic of her colleague’s conversation. “How did you get this job knowing nothing about it?” “How did you get those hours?” “Why do you get to do the coffee run” Her reply was I just do what I’m told. She has been an absolute JOY to her employer and shines bright in the work place.
One gizzy disciple was diagnosed Schizophrenic at the young age of 16. He has been on heavy medication for the last 22 years. In and out of Mental Health homes and hospitals for most of his life, the Gospel found him sitting down on the footpath in Gisborne city centre March 2013. From then he has been on a journey to be free from this demon that had held him bound for many years. With huge doses of the Word every single day and submission to biblical discipleship the Doctor has been weaning him off all medication gradually. On the 28th July 2014 the disciple went to see his Doctor and he is off his medication completely. Glory to God!
One disciple broke his arm while arm wrestling at work. He has been out of work waiting for God to manifest a healing. Every time he goes in for a check up, both the Doctors and nurses are testifying the broken bone is healing way faster than usual.
Even though it was broken he didn’t feel a whole of pain it was more discomfort while sleeping, showering, eating and every day things around the house. He has been able to hit streets and preach while off work and a broken arm has not stopped him from playing the drums and guitar at church. He is definitely trusting in God’s Word and enduring hardness like a Good Soldier
God is so Good to Gisborne, His Love continues to set people free mentally, physically and emotionally. Keep striving to stay on the narrow straight way to Life, and if you are not saved and do not know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, “What are you waiting for?” You have just read accounts from Gisborne disciples and our Church that walking and having a relationship with Him is The Most Awesomest Thing possible that you could ever do.
God Bless you,
Pastor Charity Paul
Praise the Lord – Jesus is King!!
What an amazing last few months we have had here in the “Mighty Nua” (Levin).
Our Missionary Priscilla Otukolo was promoted to Trainee Pastor, and is now under the watchful eye of faithful Pastor Crystal Tuhaka, in Manurewa, Auckland. Being part of a Biblical Ministry we understand being led of the Holy Ghost and going when He says go – staying when He says stay. Missionary Priscilla served Levin diligently and faithfully for Jesus, seeing the disciples here continue to lay their lives down and stick with Jesus, and watch more begin to lock into Biblical discipleship – What an awesome testimony to the fact that when you DO the Bible – it works! She will be an encouragement and blessing to the church in Manurewa.
New Trainee Missionaries
God always has His bases covered – when He moves someone on another (or two) is raised up to take the place. Here in Levin we’re excited to announce home-grown Missionaries Hamiora and Tamrah Wakefield have been promoted. As missionaries we are excited in what God is doing in our area, raising up more disciples and growing them up, taking more territory for the Kingdom, being a part of His biblical church is the only life to live, it is Amazing!
Two young men have finished our foundations course and have continued in discipleship. It is exciting to see the growth that has happened in such a short time and the fruit that is being produced because of biblical discipleship. Again - the BIBLE WORKS!! These guys are continuing to follow and love Jesus more and more as they lay down their lives and take up their crosses – to live is Christ, to die is gain!
Lots of visitors from Foxton have been coming along to our church meetings and have been loving the Biblical teaching and fellowship with on fire Christians.
Levin is full of souls that need Jesus and it has been our pleasure to get out there and sow some seed for Jesus. A young couple was met while out evangelising and started coming along to church, they prayed prayers of commitment to Christ and testified because of Jesus their relationship was better, bitterness and hatred towards a family member had gone and was replaced by their love of sitting together and reading the WORD. It’s Jesus – The Word - changing lives for the better!
One disciple testified since coming into Biblical discipleship he has learnt how to read the Bible properly and other disciples have testified how his reading ability has improved significantly. He has gone from only being able to read a few sentences a day to now reading 30 minutes or more a day. Jesus is Awesome!
Another disciple testifies: “I cannot count how many times I have thought, how am I going to pay for that? – and God provides, every single time. I had the warrant due, ran out of gas for our hot water and had no firewood. God is faithful. I was asked to do two extra days this week, I was given free firewood, and then I found $20 – God is Jehovah Jireh!”
We have been praying for a boy named Caleb who had a suspected broken arm and it turned out he only had a bad sprain! - Jesus is King!!
A disciple had pulled something in his wrist while using a chainsaw and could hardly use his hand anymore. “I had been asked if I wanted to learn how to climb up a pine-tree with spike-boots and harness, so I had arranged to go with this guy. The night before I was tree climbing I asked for prayer for my wrist. As I was being prayed for, it felt like a small ball was pushing upward inside my skin and the next day, I should have been in pain climbing trees, but I was sweet as! Miraculous healing in Jesus name”
God’s order, God’s plan, to take His truth to the uttermost parts of the earth is Biblical Discipleship and, it really does work! We learn to lay our own lives down for Jesus, and then learn to teach others to do the same. This is being a true Christian, a follower of Jesus and a lover of the Word.
We - LOVE IT!!
Be blessed in Jesus Mighty name!

Distance Discipleship Update
Distance Discipleship is the department of AHKM responsible for reaching out to people who are hungry for discipleship across NZ, but do not live within reach of a Biblical church. Many people come through our existing churches and make decisions for Christ and then go back to their home-towns. Others have heard testimonies about discipleship, and they too want to follow Jesus and get on-fire in their faith. For all those who cannot find a local Biblical ministry to get under, AHKM provides the Foundations Course on DVD to teach basic doctrines, and a minister makes regular contact to answer questions and encourage them in their faith. Both AHKC Gisborne and AHKC Levin began with a small group of distance disciples, so it’s exciting to see how God provides for those who seek Him!
So, here’s the latest news from Distance Discipleship:
A lady living in the Bay of Plenty region is continuing strong in her distance discipleship. She was raised in the Christian faith in another country but testifies that only since being discipled she has experienced her own real relationship with God. She has completed the Foundations course which helped her flow in tongues and other gifts of the Holy Ghost, and now has daily time in the Word and prayer. She is heavily opposed for her faith by her immediate family who are powerful members of the Sikh religion, but she testifies that discipleship has helped her stand strong and believe God for breakthrough in her family. Right now she is working diligently to become proficient in English so she can witness to others in her home town.
A couple from the Hawkes Bay region recently began the Foundations course on DVD. They have both made commitments to Christ in the past, but have never been pastored and grown up in the faith so ended up in a cycle of sin and trouble. Due to trouble with the law they were forced by the Police to leave their hometown for 2 weeks. They arrived in Gisborne with nowhere to stay and no money for food, but God miraculously provided both AND a Gospel Force soldier on the streets to preach to them! J They immediately wanted more of Jesus, and visited AHKC Gisborne meetings where they recommitted their lives to Christ. Upon returning to their hometown their three month old baby became urgently sick and was flown to hospital. After initial bad news from the doctors, saints across NZ prayed, and baby was eventually given a perfect bill of health and released from Wellington Hospital. Jesus is King! The couple testified they have never felt so much love and support from God and His Church, and also that their marriage has been healed as they read the Bible together. God has also recently provided housing for this family. Woo hoo!
Lastly a young man from the South Island was picked up hitchhiking and brought to an AHKC Levin meeting. He recently committed his life to Christ during a time in jail and was astounded at the prophetic words that were spoken over his life during his visit. He had been living with a friend who had also had a radical conversion to Christ, but neither of them had a minister discipling them. He testified that he needed a new start with Jesus and wanted discipleship. Upon return to his hometown he has stayed in contact with AHKM ministers and is hoping to settle closer to a Biblical church to support his walk with Christ.
Please keep these guys in your prayers as they stand for Jesus all across NZ. Also, anybody reading who is in NZ and wants to be biblically discipled, feel free to contact the ministry at firstname.lastname@example.org
Greetings, in the Name of Jesus. He is Wonderful.
Thanks for your interest and prayers in/for the work of the Gospel here in Otara. It’s time for a brief summary of the year so far.
Otara disciples met with those from the other AHKM churches in Gisborne over the New Year. We were billeted at different Gisborne disciple’s houses. We got out onto the streets (with the Gospel), we went to the beach , we played games, some went to a rock slide in a local river. It was a few days of great fellowship.
Soon after we were back home, a disciple when visiting his cousin learned that the cousin had recently broken his leg. The disciple prayed and the cousin felt immediate comfort and was able to walk on the leg.
Just a few days later, a disciple noticed a man exit a medical clinic, apparently in pain. The disciple asked if she could heal him, in Jesus name. The man replied “yes please” and explained that both his legs were very painful, and that he was struggling to breath. The disciple prayed for the man and he experienced immediate healing. He was breathing easily, and his legs were pain free.
Since the beginning of the year, some disciples have been having a weekly visit with a man who has a broken back, is paralysed from the chest down, and is bedridden. They study the Bible and sing songs with him. Although he can awkwardly grip with both hands he had no feeling from the mid-forearms down. The disciples minister healing through the power of Holy Ghost to him, and he is reporting some feeling returning to the lower forearms and the back of the hands.
We continue to meet a lot of folk who have mental illnesses. Often we see them change before our eyes as the Word of God ministers to their soul. The truth of the Bible smashes the confusion, destroys the depression, and gives hope. And hope lights them up. Most go away rejoicing. Occasionally some linger to learn more of this Jesus who can set them free. One has come to our church meetings a few times this year, and we have seen him telling others in the market place that those others should listen about this Jesus.
Then there are those who are healthy in the body and mind/soul, but are shaken by the preaching of the biblical Gospel. Some have a hostile response, others mock, but the worst is when there seems to be no response. These ones just seem to look right past you, their eyes showing no recognition, and at best just give a grunt or shrug when a question is put – or repeated - to them. But we rely on Holy Ghost to give us His words, and we know that their spirits hear the words. And we know the words are doing their holy work , convicting, converting.
And now, Holy Ghost is broadening our area. As well as Otara, we are now being stirred to witness in Papatoetoe (the next door suburb). Only a very short distance away, but totally different culture. We praise You Jesus that Your truth speaks life to every culture, every nation. And that Holy Spirit gives us discernment of how to minister to different people. Already we have seen demonic hatred of the name of Jesus. A shop worker who is a bringer of a false gospel could see us witnessing in the street, and her face began to change. She took on a deep scowl, and came closer trying to menace and threaten. But the demon was intimidated by the bold witness in Jesus’ name and she didn’t have the courage to come closer and offer a challenge.
As with wars involving guns and bombs, so too in the biggest war of all – the cosmic battle between light and darkness - there are regular troop movements. In February we sent one of our soldiers to Gisborne to continue her discipleship there. And we are glad to hear she is continuing the good fight, including taking the Gospel into nursing homes down there.
In Acts chapters 1 to 28, we read of the movements and work of the early Apostles. In Acts chapter 2014, March to be precise, so our Apostle visited South Auckland, including Otara. He strengthened the churches and greatly encouraged all the disciples.
And then this month, a mission team of 4 men from our Gisborne church came and ministered in South Auckland for a long weekend. All of them gave powerful testimony of being rescued by Jesus from crime and hopelessness. One of them has been healed from schizophrenia after more than 20 years of heavy medication, lengthy and frequent detentions in Psych wards, and even jail. All those fellows overflowed with Holy Ghost life.
We will finish this brief report with a note about S... (name withheld). Despite the many people who have been hearing the Gospel in the streets of Otara in recent months, S... was not one of them. But he did happen to work in a fast food place where some disciples occasionally visited. Apparently on a previous visit, S... had heard that these were preachers of the Gospel of Jesus. S... is a Muslim. He was curious why these people would want to tell people about God when the people ‘already knew about God’. So, he decided to read the Bible and find out why they do this.
When the disciples reappeared, 6 weeks later, he excitedly asked them “Are you still preachers?”. When the surprised disciples answered “Yes”, he started to talk to them of some strange developments in his life. He asked a colleague to take over for him behind the counter (S... is a senior worker there) and came out into the eating area, sat down and began to tell his story. He said he discovered the Bible made sense and was true. He said he became very confused about all that he has been taught, and how it compared with the truth he was now reading. He said he has been reading the Bible every day. He became depressed. Then after two weeks, one night in a dream, Someone came to him. This Person was surrounded by Light; He had long white hair, and He wore a long white robe. This Person told him “It will be OK” and reached comfortingly toward him. When S... woke his mind was clear, he went to work joyfully, and he a had deep desire to understand more of this truth of the Bible.
S... works every day of the week, and sends much of his earnings back to his family in his home country. But he had a few hours off in the following week, so he phoned those disciples and asked if they could meet. He sat and asked questions and listened to the Bible being brought to him for around 4 hours! And said he wants more.
S... is one of the most active members in his mosque. And he knows the cost of his life changing. He will lose his life – one way or the other. But Jesus has promised him, that this is the very way S... will find life.
God is so good.

HEY GUYS!! Four months into 2014 what a blast we’ve had this April!!
Disciples of Levin continue to faithfully serve Jesus & others, preaching the uncompromised Gospel to the lost and compromised, forsaking our own ways learning and growing in God’s ways. We continue to strive to live a life pleasing unto God as best as we can being fruitful in every good work. (Colossians 1:10)
It’s been AWESOME watching God’s kingdom advance here in little old Levin!!
Levin door to door evangelism
This month we started door to door evangelism Praise God as a result we have had many open doors, slammed doors and every opportunity to pour out and to give out as we have freely received.
Several people have come in through the doors of our church hearing the Gospel receiving prayer, prophecy and healings, yet have failed to make decisions for Christ and as a result have returned to sin and the love of the world. Levin is a small town yet there are many different false Gospels being preached. Hence the reason why Christians ought to take the Gospel seriously and obey the commandment Jesus left us, which is to preach the Gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)
Ambassadors of Christ are set for the defence of the Gospel at all times regardless of what they see. Thank you Jesus that the Gospel force continue to be conduit’s for the Holy Ghost!!
Two disciples of AHKC Manurewa going HARD for JESUS!!
A disciple of Manurewa had a work training programme set here in Levin, which meant that we had an extra soldier for 6 whole weeks. She was a blessing to all of us, her growth in the Lord has flourished, and as she testified ‘she has decreased as Christ has increased’. She also testified of God’s financial provision. Before leaving Auckland the little money she had she trusted God with and he came through with the rest. In doing so $1830 was accredited to her account as her fees worked out to be less than she expected. Jehovah Jireh is our provider!!
She shared her mighty testimony and the keys God has given her through discipleship. We were refreshed by the living waters pouring out of her heart - another likeminded servant for Christ.
Another disciple of Manurewa was with us this past week, he’s also on fire and stronger than ever!! During his stay here he testified of being greatly strengthened as were we!!
The Word of the Lord came through the brother on Sunday, it was a sobering message & a reminder to all of us to continue to count the costs, to ask ourselves those sobering questions – though none go with me yet WILL I still follow Jesus?? We should never stop examining ourselves until He who hath begun a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6)
It was really encouraging hearing about all the amazing things God is doing in South Auckland. Thank God for born again committed disciples who are laying down their lives for Christ.
Four women who are mighty disciples of God arrived from Gisborne AHKC on the Friday. These ladies preached hard, prayed hard, and poured out their hearts and love for Jesus. It was a privilege and a pleasure to have them minister to us here in Levin. What a beautiful thing to see the love of Christ manifest in others, this is truly what it’s all about Gods kingdom increasing in others!!
Our weekend together was off the hook!! Four days of on fire fellowship, praise, worship, fun, times of refreshing, times of growth and being challenged, awesome food, hard out laughs, some tears and much more.
On arrival all four ladies were totally blessed by being able to open air preach the Gospel on the streets of Levin!! All of them tore it up in the Holy Ghost!!
One of Friday night’s most memorable moments was when one of the Gisborne disciples began to open air passionately declaring what Jesus has done in her life.
When all of a sudden a so called “pastor”, (rather, an attacker of the Word), from a local church which apparently train’ up disciples, yells out “who are you preaching to? There’s no one here” she replied with a huge smile on her face “I don’t know anyone who will listen” and he said “you should go and preach to people in pubs, people who need the Gospel there’s no one here.”
This was one of those “what the?” moments, what kind of a pastor bag’s out a Christian who is proclaiming truth, truth that’s set her free? My dear friends, we as Christians know that pastors would never even dream of saying that to a Christian that was at least having a GO!! Only a carnal minded person would respond that way, carnal thinking equals babes in Christ!! (1 Corinthians 3:1)
In every meeting every disciple testified of being greatly encouraged, convicted, and challenged in getter over themselves, loving the one in front of them and seeing God’s bigger picture.
God’s heart and vision is the heart of this ministry which is to make disciples of all nations!! (Matthew 28:19) And to lay down our lives for others there is no greater Love!! (John 15:13)
Decisions for discipleship
Two young men believe that God has called them to discipleship they are currently undergoing our foundations course and Love it as they keep coming back for Jesus!!
It’s been awesome in the past month seeing them attend most of our church services, Bible studies, prayer meeting’ and street evangelisms. It’s been wonderful to see good fruit in them as a result of sitting under the Word of God. God annihilates man’s pride, ideas, opinions, and thoughts. Oftentimes God does this through men & woman of God who preach the uncompromised Gospel without fear of man!! The two guys joined us over the Easter weekend and there appeared to be breakthrough in the spirit and real commitment to follow Christ. Praise God for young men who are willing to pursue Jesus no matter what the cost.
“I had a bad cut on my finger I was told that it would take 6 months to recover. I chose to get in faith and pray for a full recovery. My finger got healed and was back to normal within 2months!! Jesus heals!!”
“We met a lady while evangelising door to door and she came to church with her mum who went up the front for prayer for healing. On their way home she testified her legs and arms were feeling much better!!”
A disciple prayed over a young man who has had pain in his ankles and joints for some time. The next morning he testified that his ankles were strengthened!! Praise Jesus!!
A testimony of training up our children
Since being a disciple in a biblical church I have been amazed at the supernatural growth of my children. They are rapidly growing in boldness, confidence, and obedience to the Word. They are really stepping out in Jesus!! At times they have even been putting me to shame!! As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth!! God is training up our children!!
On streets we got to witness to two young boys who heard the Gospel message, they prayed prayers of decision for Jesus and we were able to bless and minister to them. We were also able to minister to a group of young people. One girl had a sprained ankle and we prayed the Jesus would come heal her.
JESUS IS KING His ways are higher than man’s ways and He is perfect!! April has been an exciting month much growth in the disciples of Levin and in our fellow soldiers all across New Zealand. Thank God for Jesus Who triumphs in us and through us always taking us from Glory to Glory.
The Word of God tells us that where His church is, the gates of hades shall not prevail - that’s the truth!! Instead the trees of righteousness (true Christians) are flourishing and ever increasing spiritually in this land!! Praise Jesus He truly is raising up a mighty army, a peculiar people, a zealous people so He can demonstrate His power, His glory for His names sake!!
Be blessed in Jesus name

Kia Ora from AHKC Gisborne
Well already we are onto our second blog of the year and time flys when you are busy about the Father’s Kingdom. Gisborne Church has been drawing the line in the sand and sorting out the goats from the sheep, the fake from the real and the compromised from the uncompromised with the Word of God, just like Jesus did. With people we come across on the streets or even in our church, we can clearly see God has a Righteous and Holy standard and if you are not striving or seeking to follow it, one can presume “What or who are you following?”
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We want to make sure firstly that we are following the Jesus of the Bible, and secondly that anyone else that we come across are following the Jesus of the Bible too. Because it is eternity we are talking about. With excellent teachings from The Word multiple times a week every week, we are setting soldiers up for the defence of the Gospel, how to abhor that which is evil and cleave to that which is GOOD! To Love Jesus with all of our Heart, Mind, Soul and Strength, to walk victorious in all areas of our lives and how to destroy the works of the devil! Gisborne disciples love to see the Bible happen right before our eyes. What you read in the Bible you will see today if you are striving to hear and do the Word of God. All the manifestations, blessings, supernatural, deliverances, opposition, division and loads more, it’s all very exciting! Many of the things we are facing today were written about by the men of old wrote in the Bible.
Sanding bus project
As you may already know AHKM has purchased a House Bus for our Apostle and his family to be itinerant and travel throughout the four churches in the ministry and also seek new territory for Jesus. Gizzy disciples have been working hard between work, school and ministry meetings to sand and prepare the bus for painting. With a big job at hand, keen and eager disciples had the bus sanding project done in no time. Praying for fine weather while we were sanding was a consistent prayer request our church gave to God, especially now because we are in the cooler, rainy part of the year, and also because we have an enemy that is not happy with the Bus getting ready to hit towns and cities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!. We had a few times where windows of opportunity opened up to get in and sand, and as soon as our shift was over, it poured down with rain. Sometimes up to 8 of us were all handling electric sanders or sandpaper at once. With not a whole lot of experience in the sanding department, we found disciples were easy to teach and obey orders given. We are finishing up finer details now and are sending the bus to get painted and fit for the road and travel. Be sure to keep an eye out in a town near you for the Holy Ghost Bus. You will know it when you see it!!
Levin Mission Trip
Mission trips are always exciting for us, but even more so for Jesus, to see how much Joy He will have seeing his children rise up and minister for him. Four of our Mighty Women descended on one of our churches in Levin. They had an absolute blast in the Holy Ghost!. They went out on fire and came back infernos for Christ. They spent Easter Weekend there tearing it up everywhere they stepped. A full on weekend Preaching from the Heart and getting those gifts of the Spirit flowing freely were on the agenda for Gods princesses, and they rose and exceeded the limits. Everyone was blessed all round and we are looking forward to seeing more growth from the HOLY GHOST FUEL INJECTED MISSION TRIP.
Auckland Mission Trip
Jesus is rejoicing over us as He sees Men after His own Heart stand up and be counted for. Four Men of Valour hit our Auckland churches and what an amazing time they had with Jesus and fellow brethren. They preached hard, prayed hard and played hard and came back changed for good. Mission trips really ignite more of God’s vision inside of His people. That it’s not just about us anymore and our walk with Jesus, but the bigger picture of souls worldwide.
Whilst the men and women were out on the field in Auckland and Levin, the rest of us kept the Home fires burning hot for Jesus here in Gisborne. A time to remember what Jesus did for you and I at the cross. It's not about the chocolate Easter eggs. It is where Jesus died on the cross, went to Hell for the world and on the 3rd day rose again. He redeemed us back to the Father. Here in lies our Victory to all those that believe and follow God, and defeat to all those that do not follow God. On Good Friday we spent the night worshipping Jesus and fellowshiping, then on Saturday we were pumped and ready to preach the Gospel, we had a full on weekend of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
On Easter Monday we got together and shared lunch, baked some yummy treats and enjoyed each other. We disciples will use any excuse to get together and fellowship and worship God, but it was super special we got share it together and remember this is when everything changed for Lovers of the Word.
A cry of the people in Wairoa
Gisborne church has seen and heard the cries from the people in Wairoa which is 1 hours drive south of Gisborne, and are actively sending 4 disciples every fortnight to go preach the Gospel and ultimately to see if there is anyone who would like a second chance at life - to become a born again Christian and come out of darkness into His marvellous light. Wairoa has been overrun by the devil for far too long and Jesus is not happy about that at all. So with faithful disciples whose lives are not our own, we say “use us Lord” to take the Gospel into darkness and chase out every demon, stronghold and principality that would try stick around. With constant prayer and preaching of the Word in Wairoa all things are possible with GOD. Stay tuned to hear the awesome exploits that will come out of Wairoa.
One Gizzy disciple was a diagnosed Paranoid Schizophrenic. She came into our church from off the streets and has been sitting under the word for a year now. She was in the Mental Health unit Ward 11 here in Gisborne and came to most of the meetings held throughout the week. She was on 10mg of medication to keep her sedated and dull the voices she heard in her head. Through the washing of the Word we have seen a huge change in this Mighty woman. Her doctor has been reducing her medication and she is now at 5mg and feeling great, she was also discharged out into the community and is now in her own apartment. God is really helping her to get back on her feet. There is Hope to all those that may have friends or family that suffer from Mental illness. His name is Jesus Christ! He doesn't just put a band aid on it and hope it will go away. He is Glorious and will get right to the root of it and totally remove it.
God provides jobs
Two of our faithful disciples from Gisborne went looking for work anywhere they could find it. With a lot of people saying "no Jobs around here, you won’t find one". They were diligent and faithful to go anyway. Door knocking and on the internet were on the cards. They went to a pack house and asked for a job, and the lady looked at them and laughed you will be lucky to get in here we have a whole stack of people wanting to work here. Later that same day the lady at the pack house got on the phone and rang one of our disciples up and said "You wouldn't believe it, someone has just walked off the job this afternoon. Would you be able to come in? We have a vacancy for you.”
Days later they asked for the second disciple to come in to work. Since then, both have been made permanent and even offered possible supervisor jobs.
God's favour is upon His people and can make their applications stand out in a whole stack.
Thank You Jesus, You did it again!
I pray that you were stirred up with excitement in what Jesus is doing in around Gisborne. We will continue to do the Bible and take back what belongs to Jesus and raise up disciples to be sent out to the rest of New Zealand and the world. Continue to pray for God’s Kingdom to come down here on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Be encouraged where ever you are around the world and know there are likeminded people that Love Jesus. God and all of Heaven are with you if you are striving to do His Word, His Way and His Truth.
Be Abundantly Blessed in the Name of Jesus
